Landscape of the Heart, 2011

CK Hui Heart Centre,Robbins Pavilion, Lois Hole Hospital for Women, Royal Alexandra Hospital

The heart is compelling, timeless and complicated.  Its emotional shape borders the idea of sentiment: its rational shape articulates organization and a very systematic structure.  Beating with the rich glass stains and enamels of 16th century France the hearts dance across a glass landscape to a syncopated rhythm of colour and light steeped in life, energy, and vitality.  This contemporary palette of old and ancient references glow with the  essence of kindness, healing, and hope.
